London, UK, 10th December 2020 –Next-generation wireless infrastructure-as-a-service provider Ontix is rolling out superfast, free public Wi-Fi across the London borough of Bexley – delivering an unparalleled public Wi-Fi experience to businesses, residents and visitors, and providing a major boost to the borough’s wireless infrastructure that will bolster its future growth.
The new network is now live in Bexley’s main town centres of Erith, Welling, Sidcup and Crayford, with Bexley Village and Bexleyheath also ‘switched on’. Mobile users wishing to use the network simply complete a one-time-only registration process and are then free to experience the high-bandwidth service free from advertisements.
Councillor Louie French, Bexley’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Growth comments: “This is an important step forward for Bexley, and is part of our strategy to improve digital connectivity so that the area is well placed to take advantage of future growth. By implementing this free-to-use Wi-Fi network, we are giving local people what they need wherever they are – reliable internet on the go.
